About Violet (12.5kg)
Hey I'm Violet or my friends call me Vee
But before I get started I need to ask politely for you to take the time to read my write up that my foster parents help me put together and would really appreciate you read it before expressing your interest in me.
I'm short, sweet and mostly sassy
At the pocket rocket size of 12.5kg, I'm a ball of muscle and fit as a fiddle. Ideally I'm looking for a keen runner happy to take me for a jog a couple of times a week, allowing me to share their active life style and that is cool with letting me nap in my bed in front of the tv in the evenings.
Having sharpei thrown somewhere in my mix I am quite an independent girl so leaving me home alone is totally fine, i enjoy sun baking and playing with my toys.
I'm a loyal girl and once I get to know you, I'll be your best friend for life. I am very affectionate to the people I love and do enjoy making friends with strangers.I enjoy rides in the car, snuggles on the couch, following my people around and sometimes getting up to no good.
I am currently fostered in a busy foster home on property with multiple other dogs big, small, puppies and old. HOWEVER, while I do get along with them all. It has taken my foster parents some hard work and determination to help me realize I am not Queen B even though I'm convinced i am. I am a routine girl, I like my routine. I benefit from structure, leadership and would be best suited in a home with a dog savvy person to continue to keep me in check and allow me to better myself. I am a dominant girl, so if you looking for a dog you can take down the dog park once a week to burn my weekly energy i am not the girl for you.
I would benefit from attending doggy school, just to further my socialization.
I walk well on a harness, can sit, LOVE LOVE LOVE my crate, am toilet trained and generally a well behaved girl. I also really LOVE food making me a breeze to train and really eager to please.I'm totally fine with kids but 8 and older would be best.
Preferably my new people would have breed experience, but im willing to teach you all about a sharpei if you haven't. I defiantly would not suit a first time dog owner, no offense but I'm smarter than half the people I meet
I would be best suited in a home all to myself, however I could live in a home with a well balanced male dog as my labrador foster brother is my best mate, we play, wrestle, carry on, he knows my spot and i know his and it just works. Unfortunately due to a lack of socialization prior to arriving at the ark I can be rude when meeting other dogs which sometimes gets me in trouble, but with my foster parents help I'm really trying to do everything right. I have come along in leaps and bounds and ever tolerate my feline foster siblings. They are cool though, they don't run and aren't scared of me, I think if they ran i would chase so I really wouldn't suit a home with scaredy cats.
If your keen to meet me, please contact my foster parents and if they think we might be a good match they'll organize us to meet in whittlesea.
I know it may not sound it, or look it but I really am lovely, so if you can take a chance on me, I'll try my hardest to make sure you don't regret it.
Love, Vee xxx

Please note: if you do not send a brief description of the home that you can provide we will not continue with the adoption process
#2 Some questions-
You will receive an adoption application form within 24 hours of your inquiry being sent
#3 Photo's of your yard - Applicable for dogs only -
Please provide photos of your yard including sheltered area from sun and rain
#4 Meet & greet - With other dog/s if you have any -
You will receive an email within 72 hours of sending your application in which will let you know if your application has been successful. We will then organise a meet and greet
*PLEASE NOTE*: Not all applications are successful. We aim to match our animals to their perfect homes, sometimes there are many homes suitable but unfortunately only one animal.
Organized MEET AND GREETS do not guarantee the adoption of our of our animals. Eden Ark have the final say in the meet and greet process, If we feel our animal will not suit your family the trial period will not go ahead.
#5 A 7 day trial period -
If your meet is successful we ask that you have everything ready to take your new family member home that day. if this isn't possible, prior arrangement MUST be made - please understand we are not in a position to hold animals for you.
Adoption fee must be paid in cash on the day if your meet and greet is successful to start your 7 day trial period.
Once your 7 day trial period is complete,
Welcome to the Eden Ark Family!
