About Chloe (& Bentley)
Likes, Dislikes, Fears, Endearments and Quirks
This friendly duo are a devoted, bonded pair. They are well behaved, good with kids and low maintenance. They are fine for full time workers as they will keep each other company.
They love affectionate and attention.
Ideal Owner
In a fairly large yard the dogs can self regulate their exercise and are fine with 2-3 walks a week - even though they would love to get out more often.
They are ok for full time workers (9am-5pm) as long as they are a central focus when people are home.
As the dogs are people orientated they need to be part of family activities.
They will not suit homes with residents that are very young, frail, elderly, renters or time poor.
Tolerance to Being Alone During the Day
They will alert to something strange but are not currently nuisance barkers.
They will suit any of the following:
- someone home more often than not,
- stay at home parent,
- someone that works from home,
- part time workers,
- empty nesters,
- active retirees,
- full time workers (9am-5pm) as long as they are a central focus when home and have each other for company.
Type of Yard Required
Medium to large interesting and secure. They may take advantage of an open gate and wander off but do not usually try and escape.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS (simple and easy)
1. Read the dog's detailed profile thoroughly - for you to self screen
2. The Expression of Interest (EOI) form MUST be completed prior to a meet and greet.
https://www.dogadoption.org.au/expression-of-interest---adoption.html
3. Speak to the carer/owner directly for more detailed info to determine if there are any 'deal breakers' - designed to save time and avoid falsely raising hopes.
4. 'Meet & Greet' - you travel to where the dog is. If you have a current dog it must meet too. We strongly recommend all members of the family attend. Both parties may wish to report their thoughts to each other but MUST update Dog Adoption directly too.
5. The dog MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS have been made e.g. travelling more then 2 hrs round trip. In this case we need a minimum of 2 days notice. The adoption agreement and payment must be made before collection of the dog.
6. Normally, both parties have a think about the meeting, and if they wish to proceed, the adoption is completed after the adoption agreement, payment and screening is finalised.
7. A 2 week cooling off period commences once the dog arrives.
