About Max
MC - 956000006205578
Located Hastings area of Melb.
Hi I’m Max. I am 19 months old.
I just cannot seem to find a family that properly understands my requirements in a new home.
All I really want is a loving, understanding, caring and most of all patient family. I am learning the ropes slowly but surely. I do get bored very easily and will require another dog that is older but just as energetic as me. I will also require lots of room to run around as I love to do this.
I don’t mind a cuddle on the lounge but if I’m not tired or I don’t want to sleep I will get bored and go for a wander and see what I can chew. I am still learning about boundaries… my new owner will need to reinforce boundaries, so I do not annoy other dogs… but I really just want them to play with me.
Please remember that I am still a puppy and I need to learn how to be a good dog.
Max’s new home will be with children over the age of 10 years and with another dog that is willing and able to run around and play. Max has spent time with our trainer recently and will respond positively to commands etc when he understands you are the one in charge.
If you are interested in adopting Max please understand he will require consistency and patience in his early days with you, and this will be rewarded in spades.
Max is located in the Hastings area of Melbourne and is available for adoption. Max comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm and intestinal worm treated with a ton of love and a gorgeous smile for the right family for a re-homing fee of $650.00.
Adoption details
Please go to the website http://www.rescuealabrador.com/
to submit an adoption application. Please click on the adopt a dog link on the left hand side of the screen and complete the questions if you are interested in adopting aLabrador.
We will not discuss specific dogs with you until you have completed this questionnaire as this allows us to establish which dogs are potential matches for your lifestyle.
Once we have found a suitable match to your family, we will allow you to contact the appropriate foster carer who will discuss the dog in more detail with you.
Once you are both satisfied that this is a good match you will be able to meet the Lab. If all goes well, you will be able to take the dog on a 2 week trial. You will complete the adoption paperwork and pay the adoption fee at this stage.
At the end of the 2 week trial you will be able to adopt the Lab and we will submit the microchip transfer to the council.
