About Logan
PICK ME PICK ME PICK ME !!!!!
This is Logan - an adorable one year old puppy. Logan is a big beautiful boy who loves people and other dogs alike. Unfortunately, Logan suffers from hip and elbow dysplasia but shows no signs of any lameness and it definitely does not slow him down. His condition can be easily managed with light exercise and maintaining a healthy weight and a good quality balanced diet combined with joint supplements such as glucosamine tablets, Rosehip granules or fish oil will also be of great benefit to Logan’s health, particularly as he gets older. At this time, Logan does not require surgery and he may not at any time in the future.
Due to Logan’s size it is hard to remember that he is still a puppy and needs lots of stimulation and training – he is a smart boy and very treat orientated. His training to date consists of sit, shake, drop. He is learning to stay and come and that it is not a race to see who can be first inside – he is learning to wait at the door until he is asked inside – everything is a work in progress with this blank canvas. He will need an owner who is able to set boundaries for him and show him his place within “the pack”.
Logan loves to be inside with you and his inside manners have greatly improved since being in foster care but still does need work. Due to his puppiness he loves to “retrieve” items from bedrooms and play chase around the house. He has yet to destroy anything in his foster home so we think he just loves the thrill of the chase!
Logan walks quite well on a lead but does pull hard to sniff something very interesting. Logan is very happy to meet other dogs when walking but does react to cats and birds on walks so these are not in the ideal home for Logan. He currently lives with another dog and gets along very well with him. As Logan is a big bouncy boy he would not be suitable for children under 10 years at this stage.
At nightime, Logan is a snuggle bug and loves to sit on the lounge and snuggle with you and give you lots of kisses. He will also happily sit ON your feet or right beside you on a mat – just as long as he is near you he is a happy boy. So, if you are looking for a perfect companion that needs gentle exercise but who you can spend lots of fun time training and snuggling together then Logan is the boy for you.
Logan would enjoy strolls to cafes to meet lots new people and their fur ones and travels well in a car so taking Logan out to places just to be with you will not be any problem.
Logan is located in NSW and is available for adoption. he comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm and intestinal worm treated. This gorgeous boy is available to the right family for a rehoming fee of $500.00

to submit an adoption application. Please click on the adopt a dog link on the left hand side of the screen and complete the questions if you are interested in adopting aLabrador.
We will not discuss specific dogs with you until you have completed this questionnaire as this allows us to establish which dogs are potential matches for your lifestyle.
Once we have found a suitable match to your family, we will allow you to contact the appropriate foster carer who will discuss the dog in more detail with you.
Once you are both satisfied that this is a good match you will be able to meet the Lab. If all goes well, you will be able to take the dog on a 2 week trial. You will complete the adoption paperwork and pay the adoption fee at this stage.
At the end of the 2 week trial you will be able to adopt the Lab and we will submit the microchip transfer to the council.
