About Wally
INTERSTATE ADOPTION IS ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS, WALLY CAN BE REHOMED TO NSW/VIC ONLY
PLEASE EMAIL ME IN THE FIRST INSTANCE (PLEASE DON'T CALL AS I CAN'T ALWAYS ANSWER MY PHONE) TELL ME ALL ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR LIFESTYLE AND ABOUT YOUR OTHER DOG AND I WILL REPLY WITHIN 2 DAYS.
Wally is a Toy Poodle 8 years old.
While I am sometimes a little skittish as poodles can be I am just so excited around my humans but I make up with being incredibly loving and gentle.
When outside I love to bask in the winter sun or find shade on my day-bed in summer.
I love the company of humans and also love other little dogs, so a small companion for me to have for added company would be great in my new home. I’m as happy to curl up in your lap as I am to find a comfy place on the floor, normally on the first towel, mat or cushion you will let me call my own!
I’m a bit out of practice walking on a lead, but I think that I will pick it up again quickly. I will sit and shake your hand before dinner or treats, and I won’t start dinner until you say “Eat”.
I have recently been groomed, but I will admit that I don’t enjoy my pedicures. My vaccinations are all up to date. My 3 monthly protection against nasty parasites is Advocate, as this is the only preventative that guarantees I won’t get them again.
I have a skin tag behind my right ear, but the vet has said it is nothing to worry about. My front and back legs need to have “bicycle” exercises done for about 30 seconds each morning and night, just to keep them healthy. I normally eat “Small Breed” dog food and have Dentastix to keep my teeth healthy.
What really keeps my teeth clean best are the dry bones from the supermarket aisle or pet store; they last for ages. Special treats I enjoy are chicken wing and necks, and occasionally Scooby-snacks.
Wally is just a delightful little man who would be an asset in his new home, he doesn't have any hangups but does like to know you are around, his new home MUST have another dog around his size, he must be an inside outside dog, he is one friendly little man who greeted me with excitement and just so sweet, so if you match his criteria please contact me as statement at the beginning and end of his listing.
A life by the sea would be awesome where his mum and dad are retired and where Wally would get to run along the beach and be spoilt.

Adoption details
To enquire about a dog in foster care please email the foster carer in the first instance (using the contact details listed with the dog's description).
The foster carer needs to know about you, your family, and any other pets, about your lifestyle and accommodation, and about the type of dog you want, so that they can help work out if the dog you have selected is right for you.
For dogs, foster carers will also carry out a 'home check' where we look at fencing and shelter for the dog to make sure they are adequate, and advise on anything that needs to be done to make sure your dog will be safe and comfortable.
