About Lois
PURRSONALITY TRAITS
Lois AKA jigsaw destroyer
I hope you don't like jigsaws because I dislike them. I like to lie on them and rearrange the pieces. I find it funny to snap at your hand if you try to complete the masterpiece around me. I am the only masterpiece and that is all you should be looking at. My name is Lois and I'm 6 years old.
I love to lie around on furniture which offers me a view to the outside world. It's scary out there and I have to stay inside because my pretty white nose is sensitive to the sun. I have a shelf attached to the front window and this is my favourite place to lie and sleep. I helps me to see when you are coming home. I need to promptly remind you that my food bowl is empty. I like my food and have been trying to lose some of my fluff. Keep an eye on your food as it should be mine and I will steal it. As for the water well I prefer you to turn the tap on so I can drink fresh water from the tap.
It should be noted that I really like the male human species. I love watching the TV with the boys. I have a preference for their laps at night time and only if you don't maul me as like to be still when sleeping. If I sit on the remote you are not getting it back.
I like inspecting your room and can't understand why the door is shut when all I want is to lie on your bed. Don't rearrange me when I am my own on the bed as I might bite to prevent me from being reorganised. I do like cuddles sometimes and I have to sit on your lap or chest when you are lying in bed and purr and settle to sleep. I now like to sit on laps
I am not a fan of the pint sized humans they frankly to loud and move too fast toward me. I have met these odd canine looking things. I don't mind them provided they keep their distance and stop insisting on smelling my butt. So I am happy if they keep their horizon apart from me. I have started to smell them back when they are not looking. I would be happy to be homed with another dog. I am ok with other cats . I could tolerate another cat if they are happy to cohabitate with me being the boss. Come and meet me at my foster mum's house in Padbury.
Health Issues
Lois has a small chip in her tooth that was present when she came to the shelter. Our veterinarians have carefully assessed this chip and no further treatment is currently required.
Lois has a skin condition which has caused severe hair loss and itching in the past. There are a number of different things that can cause this condition, and it can be difficult to determine the underlying cause without specialists testing and trials. Allergic skin conditions can recur throughout an animal's lifetime and continued treatment/ intermittent medication may be required. She also has a skin condition called Feline Acne or Chin Acne.
It is not known what causes her skin reaction, though it is usually mild and manageable. Using stainless steel or ceramic bowls rather than plastic often assists.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
