About Bindi.. so well behaved!
Say hello to this little Aussie beauty!
Bindi is very well behaved ACD with excellent recall. She was raised by a tradie who was forced to surrender his best mate after a recent relocation when his real estate refused to allow pets after signing a lease. Bindi has been well loved and her surrender was a genuinely sad farewell.
Bindi has great obedience after growing up by her owners side and has remained largely off leash across numerous regional work contracts. She will come reliably, sit, wait, run out, go Up, take her place and walks easy on leash. She is crate trained, familiar with an aerial line and enjoys travel inside a vehicle and on the back of a ute.
She is her happiest beside you, either resting beside your chair or adventuring about the shed, yard or house helping you with day to day activities. She will also wait quietly if required and will wait for you without fuss if needed.
Bindi is not particularly high energy. She enjoys a gad-about the yard during her morning toilet trip, and again in the afternoon, but she is generally a very calm dog, with an easy going nature.
She is currently living with a 2 year old and is very good with children, both men and women, and the elderly. Her social access skills are also very good, and she moves through new environments, crowds and traffic in a very relaxed manner.
She mixes well with other dogs, and is currently living with a female german shepherd, cats and caged birds at ground level. She regularly needs redirecting away from the birds as she is quite fascinated by them. She redirects very quickly, but supervision would be recommended, or alternatively keep cages high. Her curiosity may get the better of her if there is no one there to tell her "No Bindi" :)
Bindi was previously living behind 3ft fences, however we would recommend a minimum of 4ft
If you would like to meet with Bindi, a meet and greet can be arranged on Friday and Sunday of this week in North Brisbane. You are welcome to make contact and nominate a time during those days if you would like to meet with her.
Medical notes
Bindi will need her desex stitches removed on the 28th July.
Her parasite, worm and flea treatment schedule is provided in her Rehoming Report.
Bindi is in good health and requires no other medical treatment.
