About Fred
If you are looking for a loving companion who wants to put his nose in your pocket and cuddle in against you at any opportunity look no further.
Sadly for Fred he had an infection in his eye and it had to be removed but because he has a black patch over both eyes it is barely noticeable For such a young dog (2 years) Fred is a quiet laid back boy that takes everything in his stride even having only one working eye doesn’t faze him He gets along well with other dogs big and small. Currently he is living with an elderly dalmatian, a staffie and 2 other greyhounds.
Fred loves his food and has a big appetite. A meaty bone will keep him occupied for hours as well as help clean his teeth. Inside he is calm and quiet spending his time sleeping or snuggling up for a cuddle. He constantly leans against his humans hoping for an ear rub. He will also let you know if he wants to go outside. He walks beside you on lead and is happy to see other dogs and people.
Seems particularly fond of men and follows my partner around everywhere. He could live as an only dog or as a companion for another dog of any breed. Fred is very trusting and loving and will happily mould into your lifestyle as long as there are plenty of cuddles and affection
Definitely cat friendly. Took him around to our test cats and he showed absolutely no interest in the cats. Took his muzzle off and he just walked straight past them and didn’t chase them when one ran across the room. Showed total indifference. He was more interested in getting out in the yard with the other dogs.
