Hi there! My name is Soxy. I’m a gorgeous 8-month-old kelpie cross (suspected wolfhound/Mastiff).
I’m a super sweet, loving and playful girl. Fun is my middle name! I’m a very social girl & love to run and play with my foster siblings. Foster mum says I’m an absolute sweetheart. Every human who meets me falls for my charms.
As I’m bigger than the average kelpie, I’m best suited to a home with older kids. Foster mum says my ideal home will have a calm, playful doggie sibling to keep me company.
I love to be near my humans & need will need secure fencing if I’m to live in suburban areas. A rural or semi-rural home would be great as foster mum & dad have farm fencing, and as long as I can hang nearby, I’m happy. I stay at home when they go to work as I have lots of room to run and my doggie friends to keep me from being bored.
I’m still a puppy and am currently learning my doggie manners. I can ‘sit’, ‘drop’, wait for my food and am learning to walk politely on lead and am perfecting my ‘stay’. I’m crate trained & sleep through the night in my crate without a peep. I am very focused on my foster mum and love to learn & earn treats.
I live with an elderly cat and I’m very respectful of her. I enjoy playing short games of fetch and playing zoomies with my friends. BUT my favourite thing in the world is to chew bones. Whoever is lucky enough to have me join their family will need to provide me with lots of those.
As a working breed, I need a home that understands my physical & mental needs and is prepared to continue my training and socialisation. If that’s you, foster mum would love to hear from you.
Love & licks,
