Keep the world’s best pet adoption platform running!
This is probably the nicest ask you’ll receive this tax time. It’s not our style to call you up and ask for money, to fill your mailbox with begging letters and branded pens, or to recruit an army of chuggers to stop you in the street. We run our donation drives on a shoestring to maximise the impact of your gifts - to keep the world’s best pet adoption platform running, and to help save the lives of thousands of rescue pets every month. Please take one minute to help keep PetRescue here for everyone who needs us. Thank you.
Hello there. It seems you like visiting PetRescue. That's great!
It's a little awkward to ask, but we need your help. We don’t invest huge amounts of funds and resources in fundraising. We’re a small but growing team of pet-loving techies who look at the big picture and create radical change that improves outcomes for rescue pets Australia-wide. We depend on donations, but only 0.05% of visitors to the PetRescue website give. If you donate just $3, less than the price of a morning coffee, you can help keep PetRescue thriving and free for everyone who needs it. Thank you.

It feels a little awkward to say this, but we need your help.
You’re probably thinking PetRescue will be fine if you don’t give anything today. Because someone else always gives, right? But only 0.05% of visitors to PetRescue donate. And here's the thing... If every pet lover using the website donated just $15 this tax time, in less than one week we'd raise enough funds to make sure we’re here for another year - helping more people like you and thousands more rescue pets in need. So, if PetRescue is useful to you, please take a moment to help. Thank you.
Give up just one cup to help rescue pets every month.
It only takes a minute, and as little as $3 a month (a very reasonably priced coffee), to give rescue pets the very best chance of finding the love and care they need for life.

Hi there! My name is Soxy. I’m a gorgeous 8-month-old kelpie cross (suspected Wolfhound/Mastiff).
I’m a super sweet, loving and playful girl. Fun is my middle name. I’m a very social girl & love to run and play with my foster siblings. Foster mum says I’m an absolute sweetheart. Every human who meets me falls for my charms.
As I’m bigger than the average kelpie, I’m best suited to a home with older kids. Foster mum says I must have a medium to large doggie sibling to keep me company in my forever home.
I love to be near my humans & need will need secure fencing if I was to live in suburban areas. A rural or semi-rural home would be great as foster mum & dad have farm fencing, and as long as I can hang nearby, I’m happy. I stay at home when they go to work as I have lots of room to run and my doggie friends to keep me from being bored.
I’m still a puppy and am currently learning my doggie manners. I can ‘sit’, ‘drop’, wait for my food and am learning to walk politely on lead and am perfecting my ‘stay’. I’m crate trained & sleep through the night in my crate without a peep. I am very focussed on my foster mum and love to learn & earn treats.
I live with an elderly cat and I’m very respectful of her. I enjoy playing short games of fetch and playing zoomies with my friends. BUT my favourite thing in the world is to chew bones. Whoever is lucky enough to have me join their family will need to provide me with lots of those.
As a working breed, I need a home that understands my physical & mental needs and is prepared to continue my training and socialisation. If that’s you, foster mum would love to hear from you.
Love & licks,
*Email email@example.com with your enquiry, and include your answers to the adoptions questionnaire (below) - please complete in as much detail as possible to help us best assess suitability of the dog for you/your family.
