About Dusty
Dusty is an older gentleman who would like a calm home where he can chill out most of the time. He is a master roacher and will show you his fantastic balancing act of roaching unassisted at regular intervals!
Dusty has had some temperament testing and is proving to be good with both large and small dogs. He is great with kids and is really good when out on walks.
Dusty is looking for a home without any cats or pocket pets at this time… Unfortunately, he was in a home before he arrived into our care where he was allowed to chase the cats and he managed to catch a few chickens… We will be working with him to retrain him but for now, his new home needs to be temptation free.
Adoption details
To adopt a dog from Greyhound Re-Homing, please contact us through one of the following methods:
- Phone: 0488 43 43 78
- Email: greyhoundre-homing@outlook.com.au
- Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/GreyhoundRehomingNSW
- Twitter: https://twitter.com/GreyRe_Homing
We will require a return contact email/ phone number to discuss with you the options of adopting or fostering a Greyhound.
You will need to complete an application form, then a home visit will be conducted to meet the family and any other pets you may have. We will then match you with a hound we think is suitable (or check the suitability of a dog you like) & arrange a meet and greet.
Once a successful meet & greet has been completed, you will sign the adoption paperwork and the adoption fee will be paid. There is a 2wk trial period, so if for any reason in the next 2wks the adoption does not go ahead, the hound will come back into care and your adoption fee will be refunded or you can be matched with a new hound.
**Payment plans may be available, but you will need to discuss this with us prior to the signing of the adoption paperwork.
