About Sawyer *On Hold*
I am the first to do everything. Look at me walking up to have my picture taken at just 3 weeks old! I am friendly too and I love everyone in my home; I enjoy being picked up & stroked, as long as it's quiet time and I'm not wanting to play. I am the biggest of my litter! I live in foster care with my brothers and my mum. There are other cats and kittens here too and some big dogs & I love them too. I am super healthy because my mum & I are eating really high quality food.
I'm a very pretty black and white boy with white whiskers contrasting on my black face. I guarantee I will be the funnest kitty you ever saw! Even better if I'm adopted with one of my brothers who I just adore!
I'm a big boy now, grown old enough to leave my family to find my forever home. I have already had my 2 vaccinations and been microchipped and sterilised. As you can see, I love my older foster brothers as much as I do my own !!
**SAWYER comes with a $40 Voucher from Edgewater Vet for anything at all from consult or next year's vaccination to surgery.**
For his safety and your own peace of mind Sawyer needs to be an indoor-only cat, although a secure cat enclosure would be a wonderful bonus for him. But an enriched household (with cat towers, scratchers & plenty of toys), some good window seats & views of outside perhaps with a screen door or window to look through & sniff the breeze, and lots of attention should be adequate. Sawyer is an active boy and would love to have furry members of the family to play with.
Located in Yanchep.
Medical notes
Sawyer and his mother are being wormed regularly. He is eating a very nourishing, high quality diet so he can develop to his fullest potential both physically and mentally and we will ask the adoptive family to continue feeding a similar quality. Sawyer has had both vaccinations, a microchip and been sterilised. Sawyer's mother and brother Finn were tested for FIV & Feline Leukemia and are Negative to both, meaning that all are negative.
Adoption details
When you see the picture, read the profile & think "This is the one!" I want to hear from you! Please message me with your email address so I can send you an application form. Although it's important for these adoptees to find their forever homes asap, there will be an informal interview process to see if you both match. This is the difference between adopting & buying and it serves the really important purpose of keeping you together for life. All family members will be included in the adoption process. Everyone counts.
1. Message me.
2. I send you an Application form via email.
3. I will phone you.
4. Meet & greet.
5. 2 week (or more) trial adoption.
6. You have a new family member!
The adoption fee shown on each listing mainly covers the cost of the vetwork needed before adoption & it allows rescue continuity. It is seriously much cheaper to adopt from a rescue than to get a "Free to good home" & organise all the vetwork yourself.
Once it's been decided that you will trial your possible family member, you will complete the adoption form, pay the fee & take him/her home to see for sure that the fit is right. The settling in process can take some time or it may be almost instant. If after a while (around 2 weeks) it becomes apparant that the chemistry just isn't there, the animal can be returned for a full refund. Please be aware that this is not a failure for either you or the adoptee. It simply didn't work & there is no blame.
If the adoption goes ahead but some unforseen circumstance rises in the future, near or far, where you must be separated, your pet MUST be returned to PRAAS; not rehomed by yourself. We have rescued that animal & we need to know that he/she is safe for the rest of its life. It may be that you have a wonderful next home to move them to, in which case please let us know.
If the animal is returned to us at this later stage there is no refund.
