About Jesse
I am a bright, friendly & very snuggly kitten living in foster care with my littermates and my mum. There are other cats and kittens here too and some big dogs so I am used to them all. I am super healthy because my mum and I have been eating high quality food.
I am all black but also have many single white hairs all over my legs and tummy. I don't know if they will stay like that though. I am the spitting image of my brother Bastian except he has those single white hairs on his back as well. Lucky, or they wouldn't be able to tell us apart! Right now I even have one white whisker which is so funny to see but helps my human tell that I am me heehee! My coat is very fluffy so you might have to brush me when my mum isn't around to lick it all into place!
I am such a purr monster that I don't even wait for you to pat me ... I start my engine as I'm walking up to you anticipating loves! I really like being picked up and cuddled and I know my humans love to do that since I'm so snuggly & soft.
I'm a big boy now, grown old enough to leave my family to find my forever home. I have had my 2 kitten vaccinations and been microchipped & sterilised.
For his safety and your own peace of mind Jesse needs to be an indoor-only cat, although a secure cat enclosure would be a wonderful bonus for him. But an enriched household (with cat towers, scratchers & plenty of toys), some good window seats & views of outside perhaps with a screen door or window to look through & sniff the breeze, and lots of attention should be adequate. Jesse is an active boy and would love to have furry members of the family to play with but would be ok as an only pet with humans who love to spend time with him.
Located in Yanchep.
Medical notes
Jesse and his mother are being wormed regularly. Jesse is eating a very nourishing, high quality diet so he can develop to his fullest potential both physically and mentally. He has had both vaccinations, a microchip and been sterilised. Jesse's brother Finn was tested for FIV & Feline Leukemia and is Negative to both, meaning that all are negative.
Adoption details
When you see the picture, read the profile & think "This is the one!" I want to hear from you! Please message me with your email address so I can send you an application form. Although it's important for these adoptees to find their forever homes asap, there will be an informal interview process to see if you both match. This is the difference between adopting & buying and it serves the really important purpose of keeping you together for life. All family members will be included in the adoption process. Everyone counts.
1. Message me.
2. I send you an Application form via email.
3. I will phone you.
4. Meet & greet.
5. 2 week (or more) trial adoption.
6. You have a new family member!
The adoption fee shown on each listing mainly covers the cost of the vetwork needed before adoption & it allows rescue continuity. It is seriously much cheaper to adopt from a rescue than to get a "Free to good home" & organise all the vetwork yourself.
Once it's been decided that you will trial your possible family member, you will complete the adoption form, pay the fee & take him/her home to see for sure that the fit is right. The settling in process can take some time or it may be almost instant. If after a while (around 2 weeks) it becomes apparant that the chemistry just isn't there, the animal can be returned for a full refund. Please be aware that this is not a failure for either you or the adoptee. It simply didn't work & there is no blame.
If the adoption goes ahead but some unforseen circumstance rises in the future, near or far, where you must be separated, your pet MUST be returned to PRAAS; not rehomed by yourself. We have rescued that animal & we need to know that he/she is safe for the rest of its life. It may be that you have a wonderful next home to move them to, in which case please let us know.
If the animal is returned to us at this later stage there is no refund.
