About Diesel
Meet Diesel a unique looking Siberian Husky x German Shepherd lad (who may even have a hint of Akita thrown in his mix). Diesel is almost 4 years old and can still behave like a puppy at times (even though he likes to look handsomely serious!) He has a thick dark coat, perky ears and a bushy fox tail.
Diesel is a water baby - his favourite place is laying in a shell pool (which he likes to hog so the other dogs don't get a turn!). He'd enjoy a home by a beach or lake where he can have a swim with you and have his very own shell pool in the yard to cool down on summer days.
Diesel is friendly meeting both men and women - he can jump in excitement at first so we'd suggest older dog-savvy kids or teenagers are more suitable so he doesn't accidentally knock them over. He could suit a single person or couple too. He is quite an independent chap so he would be fine as an only dog. He can be dominant with the other large dogs in care but may be OK with a medium-sized friendly female playmate.
Diesel isn't over the top with his affection - he does enjoy his pats but doesn't demand constant attention. He is happy to spend time on his own lazing about and watching the world go by. He isn't super energetic - he's a good mix of active and chilled out. He does enjoy his daily walks with you and is OK on lead, he'll then hang out in the yard and spend time smelling the roses.
Diesel would enjoy some advanced training with his new family to help him settle back into family life. He's not particularly food or toy focused - however he does respond well to commands and praise. He is a content and confident boy who will thrive with his very own people so please contact us for more information on Diesel.
