About Twiggy Blue Puss in Boots
Twiggy!! Blue and cream dilute calico.
She's a mod, she's a mod, she's mod. yeah yeah yeah yeah!!
I named this girl Twiggy after the 1960s model that had a mod style
Twiggy has high white boots markings on her hind legs and white gloves on her front paws.
She follows the mod fashion style with white boots - as was the fashion in the 1960s.
Twiggy's colouring is like a tortie or calico (as she has quite a bit of white) but it's a dilute colour. Having grey on her fur instead of black as the tortie or calico coats normally do.
The ginger bits are also a lighter shade, more like a peach/cream colour instead of bold ginger.
So we could say she is a 'Dilute Tortie or Dilute Calico'.
Twiggy is part of a litter of 4 kittens.
She has two sisters and one brother.
Her mum was rescued while still pregnant, which meant that Twiggy was able to grow up safely inside.
She was protected indoors with her mum getting the food she needed to feed her babies until Twiggy was able to start eating solids.
This gave her and her littermates the means to be able to grow up being used to humans and patted and weighed every day to make sure she was growing well. She was given a chance in life to become a friendly little kitten and the making of a great pet.
If a kitten doesn't get the exposure to humans before the age of 3 months old, they will become very timid and not trusting of people - which happens a lot in the local neighbourhood in Bankstown.
Twiggy is a little bit more quieter than the her littermates and loves to be held like a baby, cradled in your arms when she is in a sleepy mood. She gazes directly into your eyes and it feels like she is looking into your soul. This little girl will grow up to adore her owner and once she is settled into your home, I'm sure she will be so easy to fall in love with when she looks at your with her big beautiful eyes.
When she is in play mode, she won't sit still or stay still when you want a cuddle, as her and her littermates attention spans are focused on the cat toys they are playing with or want to chase each other.
Twiggy is available to be adopted with another kitten or cat so she has company. If you already have another cat, she would be a good companion, or you can adopt her with one of her sisters.
