About Finn
Finn is a lively 2 year old pug/beagle mix female of small/medium size, weighing in at just over 12 kg.
It is difficult to imagine how Finn ended up in a pound. She is a confident, friendly girl who bonds very quickly with her ‘people’ and is very easy going with other dogs and cats. She has had at least one litter in her past but that is all behind her now.
In her ideal forever home, Finn would benefit from some obedience training and some activities to keep her busy and tire her out. She enjoys a daily walk which will provide her with some exercise and the opportunity to experience a variety of scents. She does not pull on lead but would benefit from some ongoing training on how to walk correctly.
Finn enjoys her toys which should be of a durable quality as she likes a good chew. Air dried bones are also a favourite but should only be provided when supervision is available. She is not a digger or jumper and is not fussy with her food - she is currently on a diet of grain free kibble and raw food mix.
Finn is currently sleeping on her own bed in her foster carer’s bedroom at night and sleeps through the night. She enjoys getting into bed with her humans for a cuddle in the morning. She enjoys snoozing on the couch during the day and likes to be near her people in the evenings. She has the cutest human sounding moan as she settles down for a snooze or rest.
Finn also enjoys being outdoors and will do backyard zoomies at night, however she prefers to be inside with her humans. She would probably enjoy helping with the gardening. Finn would benefit from having a well trained canine companion to show her the ropes and keep her company if her family is out of the house. Ideally, Finn prefers someone to be home a lot of the time.
Finn would be suited to a home with older children. She needs to be permitted to sleep inside at night.
