About Echo
Introducing our effervescent Echo. Echo is 2 year old Siberian Husky (possibly cross Malamute) who is charming and friendly when meeting new people. He likes to occasionally do zoomies in excitement and then run straight to you for a pat and to remind you he's there.
Echo is an energetic boy who would love a good walk each day and may even make a good jogging partner for cooler weather running. He gets a big smile on his pretty face (yes boys can be pretty too!) when he sees you get the lead out - he'll trot over to lean on your legs to tell you he's ready for a walk. He pulls in eagerness at first and gets better once his initial excitement is over. If you live near the beach or lake he'd love to join you for a paddle - he enjoys a splashing about in a clam pool on hot days.
Echo loves adventure so he requires an active family who will allow him to join their daily activities. He loves to play with other dogs so he would be a good match with an existing medium-sized friendly and equally playful dog. He would get too lonely in a single dog family so he is looking for a home where he will have a doggy play mate.
Echo is a lovely natured boy who is clever and is partial to treats, however he does enjoy pat rewards as much as food rewards. When you give him an ear scratch he leans in for more. He has nice manners when asked to sit and he'll come to you when you call him (most of the time!) He can get distracted when there are exciting things around but with consistent training this should improve. As with most of our arctics we'd recommend a home without cats, chickens or pocket pets.
Echo loves his people but he isn't needy - he is confident and independent and he would be quite content to entertain himself with a canine friend or treat toys whilst you're out. He may suit a family with older kids who are confident with bouncy, energetic dogs.
Echo enjoys his cuddles and will give you gentle kisses to show his affectionate love-bug side. Sweet Echo is ready to join his forever family so if you think he might suit your family please contact us.
