Where do we start?
Here’s some of the points Enzos current family have to say ...
Likes a good pat and game of soccer in the garden.
Loves a walk and we use a haulty as he can pull if he sees another dog. Generally he knows the rules and complies.
My elderly parents can walk him too, so he’s aware of people less strong and although he tries it on a little at first, if you say no and hold firm, he will generally walk well.
Likes a short trip in the car, can go to the park or travel for about ½ hour with the window open and enjoys the new smells he’ll encounter and an adventure. He use to come to kids parties with us and was a hit.
He likes the sea and beach but is not a mad water dog, he’ll just watch and smell with his feet wet,
Has an indoor mat that he likes and so long as he’s near the family and the action, you won’t hear a peep out of him in the evening and during dinner, needs to see everyone.
He does not beg for food, he’s well trained but also not greedy, so he will wait for his dinner and not hang around the table wanting scraps. Saying this, my husband has seen a few sandwiches disappear if left on the coffee table unattended for too long….he’s probably thought no one wanted it!!
Has a very simple diet of high quality non wheat dry food with raw meat of something to spice it up. Has a sensitive gut, so simple and pure is best.
I think he would be a good companion for a young family with kids to run around with or active people who have things going on at home, maybe work from home.
He will sit all day with an elderly couple whilst they have tea and read and he will be in heaven. He just likes to be with people.
I think he’d do well also on a hobby farm, where there are other animals to protect and a job to do

This is in no way an obligation to adopt but simply gives us some more information about the home, family and lifestyle you have to offer a new pet.
As of 2017, Fresh Start Rescue are no longer placing dogs in homes with children under the age of 9 years old. We know this will frustrate many families looking to adopt, however for the safety of both those families and are beloved dogs, we have decided to put this measure into place.
