Female Domestic Medium Hair Cat

Meet Gypsy! She is a calico cat, 8-9 yrs old (but you wouldn't know it). She has a lovely sweet nature to be a 'companion' for an elderly or sick person (as opposed to children who she hides from). She loves going for rides on the wheelie-walker, & being a lap warmer.
She has a lovely sweet temperament, but can be a little quiet and shy with people she doesn't know until she warms up to them.
A note from her foster carer - Gypsy is fine with older children (10 years and older). One of the most obedient and affectionate cats I have ever met. She responds to gentle encouragement and loves her food, and bonds very strongly to you once she knows she can trust you. Gypsy will tolerate other cat-friendly cats and dogs, but she does not go out of her way to socialise with them. Currently lives with 2 dogs and 6 other cats, however we find that providing her with her own crate/space overnight suits her need for privacy and solitude when she needs it. She can often be found there at other times of the day catching some z's :). I can recommend her as a dedicated companion cat, most suited to a quiet household. She has no health issues and is in very good shape for her age. A gorgeous girl.
Gypsy is currently in foster care in Wauchope, NSW, but is available out of area for the right adopter.
Jan 22 Update: Gypsy has well and truly come out of her shell. She is quite happy with her resident fur siblings at her foster home, and thinks she owns the place! She will follow you around, purring and rubbing against your legs. This little lady will steal your heart, and your armchair!! Don't miss out on a furry charmer!
I am available through The Fur Monsters of Doom Incorporated, the first step is to contact my rescue so that you can complete an adoption questionnaire to ensure you could be the right place for me. Then if we have a committee member nearby, we will have a yard check completed, otherwise we will request photos of your yard. Then once you're approved I'm all yours for a two week adoption trial! During this time you can return me if it doesn't work out - but please keep in mind that it takes time for a new furbaby to properly settle in to a new home.
Please note: Interstate Adoption is available for the right family
