About Clayton
Clayton is an amazing young man who is looking for a forever family who have another dog for him to become friends with. He love you smooch up and get cuddles and pats and will happily chill on the couch with you or in his bed nearby. He plays well with other dogs of all sizes and ages and also loves to play with kids and adults. A little unsure of cats still however he is very kind to them and just wants to talk to them.
He loves chasing his foster brother and playing with him but also loves to play with his foster mum and dad. Clayton knows how to sit, shake, wait and get up and down off items and sleeps well in his bed each night. Happy to chill out inside and have some quiet time and knows how to be patient for his dinner. He is not food aggressive but is a garbage disposal so you are guaranteed to always have clean floors.
Well behaved when left at home as long as he has another dog for company or he would love a family that can take him with them all the time. He can be a little nervous in large crowds or loud noises but with a few reassuring pats he is happy to keep walking. Clayton can be a little nervous meeting new people and likes to have a good look at new people before he goes up and gives them a good sniff and lick. Once he gets to know you he is a very friendly and lovable man that loves to play and show you how much he loves you.
Adoption details
Please complete our adoption form via our website. Filling out an adoption application does not commit you to adopting a dog.
Once we receive your application we will put you in contact with the dog's foster carer to have a chat about the dog and whether it is the right fit for your family. The carer will then arrange a meet and greet with you and your potential new dog. A volunteer from our rescue will also contact you to arrange a home inspection to make sure the home and yard is safe and secure. If all goes well, the dog will go on a 21 day trial to make sure that they dog fits into your lifestyle. And then you will live happily furever after.
