About Chelsea
Meet Chelsea - a 9 year old Alaskan Malamute lady who'd love nothing more than spending her days by your side. Chelsea is a people dog who is calm and sweet natured - she has a lovely white coat with black tips and attentive honey-coloured eyes with pale green rings within the iris.
Chelsea would suit a Mallie experienced single person or couple without children, or someone semi-retired who enjoys a quiet lifestyle. She does enjoy meeting adults when she is out and about but she's not the sort of gal who needs to lead a social or hectic life. She would love to just sit back and enjoy a slow-paced life with a consistent routine to settle into. She is affectionate and loving yet she prefers not to be over pampered or smothered.
Chelsea longs for a home without any other pets - she doesn't enjoy the company of other dogs - especially not small ones who will be in her face. As with most of our arctics we suggest a home without pocket pets or cats. She walks quite well on lead and would be partial to a neighbourhood walk each day. She loves the car and travels nicely so she'd happpily be your co-pilot on drives.
Chelsea will relax on her bed or amble along at your feet whilst you go about your household chores - she likes to watch what you're up to and give you moral support if you need it. She'd enjoy being an inside pooch with visits into the backyard with you for a good sniff, a spot of gardening or to lay in the sunshine. She loves treats and will lean on you for a pat or a reward.
If you have a quiet lifestyle and are looking for an independent and sweet pooch who will be your loyal companion then Chelsea would love to hear from you.
Medical notes
Chelsea has recently had a dental and had some lumps removed. She is in good health and happy spirits.
