About Jackson
Jackson is a very handsome and active 20 month old male German Shepherd in care in ACT.
Jackson is a very strong willed shepherd who needs an experienced and confident shepherd owner. This boy pushes his boundaries and he needs to learn to respect his master otherwise he will try to assert his authority.
Jackson is one smart boy and will be a great companion dog but he needs an experienced shepherd owner.
This boy has been a much loved family pet where he grew up as an integral member of the home he is house trained and responsive to voice commands. He would love to be a family dog again.
Jackson was the best friend for the son in the family and unfortunately they had to make the hard decision to part with him when they were relocated to a small property with a very small yard. They felt that this was not fair on Jackson.
Jackson is very playful and needs an active family who can take this boy out for long walks and give him plenty of stimulation. This boy is not for the faint hearted he will test you but once he knows his place and with time will be a wonderful loyal companion dog.
Jackson needs room to run and a secure yard he will chase stock and would be best suited as the only dog in the household. He has not been tested with cats or pocket pets.
Jackson loves car travel he would benefit from further lead training and we would suggest he be walked with a haltie.
This regal boy has all the attributes of this intelligent breed, loyalty, intelligence and lots of affection to give his new family.
For more information on Jackson please contact German Shepherd Rescue NSW.
Medical notes
Jackson is desexed, fully vaccinated and heart worm tested negative. He has been wormed and flea treated.
