About Tess
I'm shy initially, but once I'm settle I'm a real smooch. I'm not a fan of other animals or children so would prefer a mature home where I can be your only fur baby.
Hello there! My name is Tess. I am six years young, and have been spending some time in foster as I was a bit stressed out at the shelter.
Foster Mum says I am super sweet and polite girl. I enjoy scratches and pats and will sing in a sweet voice when it's time for my dinner. Like any introvert would know, I am quite happy spending time with people that I love but also equally as happy to spend time by myself, especially by a nice sunny window to warm my whiskers.
I can be a bit shy when you first meet me, to the point where I might hide under a bed or in a place where I can observe the world but it doesn't take me too long to come out and get to know you.
I have been living with other cats in my foster home, and I didn't mind their company, so with slow introductions I would be able to live with another cat friendly cat/s. I have also gotten used to the resident toddler (who is very gentle with me) so a home with children would be okay as long as they know to respect my boundaries and be gentle with me.
Do you have the purrfect forever home for me? You can meet me in my foster home in Hocking.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
