On Hold
Benny is a gorgeous boy who is waiting for his loving forever family. He is quite an active cheeky boy who will need to be taken for a daily walk once he is fully vaccinated as well as have daily interactive playtime such as teaching him to play fetch. He will also need plenty of appropriate chew toys to help him through the teething stage.
Benny arrived at the shelter with his littermates and does enjoy their company. If you do already have a dog and you are thinking of adopting Benny please bring your dog along to the shelter to meet him so we can see how they interact. Any other pets in the household should be introduced to Benny slowly and under supervision.
Puppy preschool would be great for Benny as he will learn to follow basic commands socialise with the other puppies and people and even learn a fancy trick or two. If you have children please encourage them to participate in the classes too as it is a great place for them to learn how to handle and interact with Benny and other dogs in a calm and safe manner.
Benny will need a secure yard with fences and gates that are at least 5ft high and in good condition with no gaps or footholes and are flush to the ground- colourbond would be best.
