On Hold
Leo is a gorgeous boy who loves to lap up as much attention as he can get. He was badly matted when he arrived at the shelter so needed to be clipped. His new forever family need to be prepared to give him a good brush every couple of days to ensure he doesn't get matted and uncomfortable again. Leo has used the litter tray during his stay at the shelter without any accidents and he will need to be kept indoors for at least the first 2-3 months when he goes home so he familiarises with home and will be able to find his way back if let outside after that time. Of course with some toys a scratching pole and plenty of love and attention Leo would be quite happy living safely as an indoor only cat. Leo hasn't caused a fuss around the other cats here at the shelter but if you do already have a cat and you are thinking of adopting Leo you need to be prepared to allow plenty of time and space while they get used to eachother. Any other pets in the household should be introduced to Leo slowly and under supervision.
Please also ensure any young children in the household are shown how to handle and interact with Leo in a calm and gentle manner and that he is left to relax on his own if he shows signs he has had enough attention.
