About Poppy
The beautiful Poppy has just announced that she is now ready to take the next part of her journey and find her furever family. Poppy is a very special girl and is still recovering from her surgery so patience and a commitment to her ongoing wellbeing is required.
She is a stunning fawn Bullmastiff and has been nicknamed ‘pocket poppy’ due to her petite size, she is a sterilised female in good health (following corrective surgery) with vaccinations, worming and health checks all up to date.
A forever home needs to be able to offer poppy a safe, loving and nurturing environment as Poppy has a great deal to offer. She would love a home that has time for activities and walks where she is truly part of the family. Poppy is approximately 2 years old and has been fostered in a home with 2 other dogs and multiple house guests.
She is great with children and loves cuddles on the couch or bathing in the sunlight, Poppy teaches you to enjoy life!
Poppy is not fond of the postman or pelicans, but loves to take time to enjoy the roses on her walks and has had some considerable effort put into her training by her loving foster family.
Poppy is now looking for a forever home with the following attributes:
• Lots of love and patience as Poppy continues to adjust and grow into a loved life as a gracious lady
• A commitment to ensure that Poppy and the family continues her training and socialisation with a positive training organisation
• Poppy is a house dog and loves the lounge and bed! Snuggling is a must for this lady
• A commitment to good nutrition
• A commitment to regular exercise with the family
• A commitment that this is a forever home
• A commitment that if your circumstance change you call the Bullmastiff Community United first and we will assist and take her
Medical notes
Poppy recently underwent corrective surgery for a damaged patella due to abuse. It is anticipated that there will be no further issues with this however a good home will be required to ensure that Poppy has adequate rest and a commitment to her ongoing welfare
Poppy also has a crank tail that is intact and does not interfere in her daily activities
