KHANs personality is a big sooky goofball. He loves to chase his tail and roll around on the grass. His foster mum thinks he missed running lessons and instead he bounds and hops like a rabbit.

Khan came to us with callouses all over his tail, neck, head and elbows where he obviously has spent most of his life on a chain lying on concrete. These are healing well and his coat is looking thick and healthy.

He LOVES cuddles, and naps, and more cuddles. When he cuddles and is really happy and content he grunts and groans like a pig. When you’re relaxing and watching a movie he is right there on the couch with you, when you’re in the kitchen cooking he likes to nap where he can still see you out of the corner of his eye – no begging at all.

Khan has the most amazing bum wiggle where the whole back half of him wags with excitement. Watch out for that tail though!....its like a whip!

He is an amazing guard dog and lets us know when something isn't right or someone is too close to the fence - he has a very quiet low rumbly bark.

Khan loves nothing better than running around and playing with his foster siblings. he is not happy being an only dog and will need doggy friends of similar sizing and stamina to be happy. Khan is happy to sleep outside as long as he is with his doggy friends, even happier to sleep inside though!

Great with the kids and not rough at all, he does not jump up on them and will happily lay wherever they are playing. He is great walking, non reactive with other dogs and will happily sit at a café with you whilst you relax and drink your coffee!

Our boy Khan can quite easily jump fencing and will go for a wonder. Secure tall fencing is a must for him to be kept safe - 6FT plus colourbond fencing with nothing to jump onto to get over. I guess with spending most of your life on a chain, the temptation is just too great!. Khan was rescued from Death Row at a Rural Pound and was extremely skinny on arrival, however you would never be able to tell that now!

Khan eats very slowly and likes to sit and just casually eats his dinner.
