About Koda
Koda first came to us here at the Orange shelter when she was surrendered and she is now looking for her forever home. Koda is a very outgoing active and sweet girl who loves nothing more then running around playing with her toys and having the people that love her around for cuddles. Since being here at the shelter Koda has meet four other dogs/puppies and doesn't mind there company at all for both large dogs and small breed dogs she approached with a medium tail wag and play bowed. Koda would be best suited to a family that can include her in as much of the day to day activities as possible. Koda does have a habit of jumping up when we enter the cage or when she gets excited so further obedience training would be ideal. If you already have another dog at home and you are thinking of adopting Koda we recommend that you bring your dog down to the shelter so they can meet and we can see how they interact together. When we take Koda out for her walk she does pull on the lead and can be difficult to control at times so we recommend that she goes to a family with no children under the age of 12. Koda will need to go to a home with a large backyard with at least 6ft fences that are flush to the ground with no footholes or gaps. Even tho Koda does only have a short coat she will still need to be brushed to ensure that she is always kept looking at her best.
