About Zephyr
ZEPHYR
Siberian Husky
6 year old Male
Located : Mandalong (Central Coast), NSW
He’s like the wind… through the trees…. I, Zephyr, will loudly and proudly go on record to say that I absolutely LOVE sledding. Notice the capitals? The first time I was put in harness I believe I found my calling and a means to clear my head. I can run as lead dog, or even co-lead - just let me run is all I ask of you.
Or, if you’ve got a nice comfy couch I could also go for that nowadays.
Yours to sled or yours to smother with affection - the choice is entirely up to you.
Escapism is not in my repertoire, aside from not having the inclination I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t even know how or where to begin.
On the sensitive side I put Julie Andrews to shame with my yodelling ways. Whether that is because I am super excited about something (like sledding!) or I feel you’ve left me alone for too long those near and far will hear my pipes be put to good use.
The solution is quite simple - if you are home more often than not then I would embrace life as your one and only. if you can’t be then there simply must be another canine - or more - to occupy my time. Good with most except other dominant males, it’s best there be no small dogs, cats or pocket pets on my horizon for my prey drive is quite high.
Children in the family are best being of the older variety, or at least old enough to understand that I have a bit of a “thing” when being grabbed suddenly and in surprise. That’s something they - and you adults - will need to understand really well.
But allow me that little proclivity for I really am nothing short of pure smooch.
What’s a little issue between friends, after all - and we’re friends, right?
