About Ivy
Yo, Wo, Wo…Ivy is in the doggy house!
I say “Bow”, you say “Wow” (Bow – Wow, Bow – Wow)!
Thank you for reading my profile. My foster Mummy took me in from a rural pound only 24 hours ago (19th June).
She has two English Staffies, Belle and Bohdi, and they already taught me how to use the doggy door so in 24 hours I have had one pee accident inside. Other than that I AM toilet trained…..can I get an ‘Amen’ up in here, keep those treats coming my way Ma!!
I have also learnt two silent/hand signal commands ‘sit’ and ‘come’. I’m highly intelligent and walk very well on slip lead, which at the moment I also like the taste of......this leather stuff is goooood.
Do you like cuddles? Because I do, but I am also quite independent for my age, I will happily tootle off to the couch and fall asleep by myself.
I met these short things called ‘children’ today, I wanted to take one home but Foster Ma said “No, you can play again tomorrow”.
When I had my first bath yesterday, I sat still the whole time, massaging oh wow have I been missing out, it’s the best, then afterwards we played this game called ‘catch me if you can’ with a towel….I couldn’t escape though, baby gates are sooooo annoying, they are everywhere around here!
I don’t sleep in Mum’s bed, one of those baby gates again down the bottom of the stairs, I sleep on the couch with Belle and Bohdi where I have access to the doggy door through the night too.
My paws are getting tired so to finish this up let me get down to business…let’s talk FOOD, I’m a carnivore, so far my favourites are the local butchers chicken pet mince and chicken necks, oh and lamb bones YUM…anything raw and I’m into it. If you can cut me a deal on that then I am all yours.
I really do need some company though as I am a social girl so someone home a lot or a furry sister or brother……it’s all play, play, play for me at the moment with my foster siblings.
Much Wuv,
Ivy x
