About Bambi
Hi there, my name is Bambi and I'm looking for my forever home.
Id like to tell you a little about me if I may.
A couple of years ago sadly I found myself surrendered to the pound after my owner could not afford to pay for the dental I so desperately needed. My mouth was so sore that I had trouble eating and started to lose weight, things were looking dim for me and I did not know what my future held but thankfully a lady from Butterfly Wings Animal Rescue agreed to help me and rescued me from the pound, she arranged for me to have a dental done straight away. I did loose all my teeth but that is ok as now I have no pain and it has not stopped me from eating at all and I do love my food!
I'm living with my foster family in Guildford West and I have a foster friend here to play with as well. I do enjoy the company of another cat but sometimes I find it hard to get along with others. Cleo is understanding of that as she is similar to me but we respect each others space yet still find time in between naps and eating to play a little as well :) I don't mind dogs but I'm happier when they show no interest in me, I don't really like it when they get all up in my face.
I'm most happy when I can share my carers lap and love to share her bed as well. I have proven myself to be very loving and affectionate.
My foster mum tells me all the time that my forever home will come my way soon, I really hope so because whilst I'm happy with my foster family I do look forward to the day where I can finally relax and be care free in my forever home with my forever family.
The kind lady who rescued me from the pound made sure that I was desexed, vaccinated and micro chipped. My foster mum makes sure that I'm always parasite free too.
I'm told my adoption fee is just $100 and that is to go towards helping other cats that need to be rescued.

Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
1. Contact us via email or phone for more information on the cat your are interested in.
2. Head to our website www.butterflywingsanimalrescue.org and fill out our adoption application. When submitted it will be sent to us to review.
3. Once we have reviewed your application, we will contact you and let you know if you are successful or not. Remember, we may say you are unsuccessful for that particular cat as it may not be suited to your home, in which case we will suggest others that may interest you.
4. If successful, a meet will be organised between you, your family and the cat.
5. If the meet is successful we can go one of two ways:
All remaining vetwork will be done and a time will be organised to bring the cat to you. A holding fee of 50% will be required. Upon drop off a adoption agreement and Change of Ownership will be filled out by yourself and the remaining adoption fee will be collected.
OR
If all vetwork is already completed you can take the cat home at the time of the meet, the adoption agreement will need to be filled out and the entire adoption fee will be collected. We will then organise a time to come out to your house to visit the cat and to finish finalising all paperwork.
There is a 2-4 week trial period with all our adoptions. This is to give the cat time to settle in and show its true personality to its new family. It also gives you a chance to see if the cat is really what you are after. If the trial is unsuccessful, we will pick up the cat and issue a full refund. If the trial is successful we will finalise the adoption according to point 5.
