About Freya
**We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry/. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.**
Freya is the name of the goddess of love, beauty, war and death in Norse mythology.
Her name suits her to a T. Freya is super loving and sweet but she is also very protective of her family.
Just like most huskies, Freya really adores being around you. She also loves going for long walks, playing and running around parks with other dogs. Freya loves spending time at the beach too - some of her favourite things include splashing around in the shallow water and fossicking for crabs on the rocks.
If you're looking for an intelligent, fun and affectionate dog to be your best friend, then Freya is the dog for you.
MY IDEAL HOME: Can you adopt me together with my mum Joya?
https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/407282
That would be my dream outcome, however I understand it might not be possible.
I am not really used to spending time alone, so I would appreciate company from another dog.
The type of home I'm looking for is one where I will be adored and cherished for the rest of my life. I love cuddles and going on walks, and I also enjoy obedience training - so I hope you do too. :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a pretty easy dog to have around. I really love running but am just as happy with shorter walks as well.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I am very used to living with children and love their company.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm very close to my mum Joya and would dearly love to be adopted with her if at all possible! If not, I'm happy to meet any resident dogs you have and see how we get along. :)
Unfortunately I'm not well-suited to cats as I 'love' them just a little TOO much.
