About Joya

Joya is a nurturing soul who has so much love for everyone she meets. Her name derives from the Portuguese name for 'jewel', and that's exactly what she is - the jewel of her humans' hearts. It's with great sadness that they are looking for a new home for Joya as they are moving overseas.

That would be my dream outcome, however I understand it might not be possible.
The type of home I'm looking for is one where I will be loved and cherished for the rest of my life. I love cuddles and going on walks, so I hope you do too. :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Not very high... however, as I'm a tiny bit chubby, it would be great if a good long walk was incorporated into my daily routine!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm very patient and loving with children of all ages.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm very close to my daughter Freya and would dearly love to be adopted with her if at all possible! If not, I'm happy to meet any resident dogs you have and see how we get along. :)
Unfortunately I'm not well-suited to cats as I 'love' them just a little TOO much.
