About Abbey
INTERSTATE ADOPTION WILL BE ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS
Thank you for considering a rescue dog. Most dogs receive several enquiries, and we aim to match the right dog to the right home so that they can have a happy life together. If your enquiry is unsuccessful, rest assured that the foster carer has carefully based their decision on a thorough knowledge and 15 years experience with the understanding of the dog’s needs as our top priority.
Please email in the first instance telling me about your home/lifestyle/activity levels/other dog in the family, children/ages anything that gives me an idea of you and your family and the life that I can expect for my foster for the rest of their life.
When emailing from a mobile phone please include the number.
Abbey is a very friendly puppy who loves to cuddle up for pats. She is only young (7 months approx)
Abbey was rescued with her brother, Jeffrey, who she has bonded with and could be rehomed with. As puppies, they love to play, especially with each other and other dogs, but they are also quite calm most of the time.
She has responded very well to training (she will sit and wait) but will need further training, especially outside the home.
Abbey and Jeffrey can only be rehomed together as they are very bonded and they would not cope being separated.
Abbey is a beautiful girl with a great temperament and personality she is such a good girl with the other dogs and is not a silly pup, pups don't do well as only dogs, they need the company, companionship and socialisation and they need something to do during the day while the family are not home.
Abbey is good in the house she sleeps through the night is good on the lead, she is just a gorgeous girl who deserves just the best home.
If you are looking for 2 dogs then maybe you would consider Abbey and Jeffrey.
Abbey is the dog on the right in 3 pics but pic number 2 she is on the left.
Adoption details
To enquire about a dog in foster care please email the foster carer in the first instance (using the contact details listed with the dog's description).
The foster carer needs to know about you, your family, and any other pets, about your lifestyle and accommodation, and about the type of dog you want, so that they can help work out if the dog you have selected is right for you.
For dogs, foster carers will also carry out a 'home check' where we look at fencing and shelter for the dog to make sure they are adequate, and advise on anything that needs to be done to make sure your dog will be safe and comfortable.
