About Bailey
Bailey is an affectionate, cuddly dog once he gets to know you. He really enjoys pats and cuddles but he needs to build relationships slowly.
He needs a very experienced owner who has experience with anxious and fearful dogs. Bailey needs to go to a home with no children, and he generally prefers women but has developed relationships with some men.
He has some separation anxiety, which has improved a lot in foster care, but ideally his forever family will work part-time or from home.
Out and about he can get scared and needs a handler sensitive to how he is coping and understands what environments he can be taken to. He is reactive and fearful of loud noises and fast movements.
Bailey is extremely intelligent and has done very well in foster care learning new tricks and agility training. He is slowly getting used to walks out and about, but prefers to be in a quiet home environment.
Bailey gets along with some quiet, older dogs but he would probably prefer to be the only doggie in the home. Ideally Bailey will need to live in a quiet home, away from foot traffic and visibility of strangers to keep him calm.
He has a short coat and weighs 12kg

Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
