About Willow (On Trial 11/12/14) ~ Chihuahua x
This precious little girl is Willow, a 3 yr old Chihuahua x. Willow was a very timid little girl when she came into care but is coming out of her shell more and more each day. She is learning social skills like playing with the other dogs at our house and she is getting more adventurous.
She is living with 4 other small dogs at her foster carer's house, including her daughter Cassy http://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/332453 who is also available for adoption. Willow is not really that interested in other dogs, she prefers human company. We have two cats which she tends to chase and bark at but that’s all, I don’t think she means them any harm. We also have chickens but she shows no interest in them.
Willow is a very quiet natured little girl. She doesn’t bark or make any noise at all really. She can be a bit fussy with her food but once she finds something to her liking there is no holding her back.
Willow \ hasn’t had any training but since coming into care she is learning basic commands like sit, stay etc and is going really well with this as well as with her toilet training.
All Willow wants is to be loved and she will give you her whole heart in return. She would be fine with another little dog but also would be fine as an only dog.
If you wish to meet Willow or would like further information please contact her foster carer Karen by email plumb2a@bigpond.com or phone 0411263304. Willow is in foster care on the Central Coast NSW 2250 and is available for adoption interstate.
Cassy's adoption fee is only $400 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
