On Hold
About Nixon (On hold pending adopt)~ Bull Arab x
Hi, my name is Nixon and I’m a 5 month old Bull Arab x but my foster mum says I’m 100% adorable. Mum thinks I’m going to be a big boy when I grow up because my paws are quite big already! I am house trained and I will sit, drop, and stay when you ask.
I'm great with children. I love other dogs so I need to go to a new home where I will have another dog for company. I went to a big street fair recently and was friendly with everyone and very well behaved.
I’m not sure about this bathing business yet but mum keeps giving me treats at bath time so I’m sure I’ll get used to it soon. I’m also learning how to walk on a lead, something I’ve never done before but I love it when I get to go with my canine foster brother, he teaches me so much!
I’m a good eater and like to try anything, some of my favourite things are raw bones and chicken wings, and I’m really good at sitting before I eat too.
While foster mum is at work, I spend my days outside happily playing with my foster brother and sister and chewing on bones. When mum is home we are allowed inside the house and at night I love sleeping on the comfy doggy bed beside mum’s bed. Foster says I will need to be allowed inside in my forever home to bond with my family.
If you would like to be my forever family, please get in touch and come meet me. I'm sure we'll love each other!

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
