About Bear ..has transferred to lab rescue foster carers
Bear is a big, beautiful, happy, friendly and very loving puppy dog. He loves his human friends and loves all other dogs. He can get a little over excited when playing as he is still just a puppy, but a big one :) Because he doesnt know his own strength, he may be suited best to a family with primary school aged kids or a family who is used to big dogs.
Bear will need to be part of an active family with the time and dedication to put into training so he will keep growing to be a well mannered, social doggy. Obedience school is a must! He still loves to chew things so will need to be kept busy, have plenty of big bones, fun toys to play with, exercise and most important of all, be allowed indoors to be around you.
He hasn't been good with chickens (so far) and we are not sure about cats but with the right love and training, I believe he could be okay with both. However he does have pointer in him, so this would have to be assessed as you go.
Bear knows basic commands, will wait for his food, is good on the lead after a bit of initial pulling, and would love to be part of a family where he can join in on all the activities and fun. He would love to come to soccer/footy/cricket etc training with you, go camping with you, run with you, play ball, fetch and just be where you are. He behaves well in the car too.
He really doesnt like being left alone and would ideally love to go to a home where there is another doggie friend he can play with and learn from.
If you think you might be able to give this gorgeous Bear a loving forever home and are prepared to take him to doggie obedience school for 12 months to further his training and you are happy to have Bear as an inside dog (he is not yet house trained so you would be prepared to follow through with toilet training) then please send me an email telling me why you think Bear should come live with you, and to request a pre-adoption application form.

URGENT: Please note: I am seeking a responsible foster carer for Bear. This person would be familiar with Labradors and their need for lots of play and affection. You would be willing to assist with training and house training as well as allowing him to live inside with your family. He has not been tested with cats and is not good with chickens at this point in time. Great with kids and very loving :) Please email me for more information - hollie66@bigpond.com or call 0408127268. Thank you.
