Small Male Fox Terrier Mix Dog

Squall is gentle boy who is social with other dogs. Squall sometimes needs encouragement to walk on lead but he walks on loose lead ignoring passing cars and dogs. He enjoys being patted and will sit on command. He is most comfortable in a calm environment and is much more comfortable with women. Squall has not known a lot of affection and attention in the past. Squall is very fixated on food, so easy to train. He would prefer a home with no cats.
Adult Home: Nervous or not tolerant of children. And/or too high a level of excitability for children to control.
Suit Full Time Worker: Not overly needy and can entertain itself. DR recommends play time, dog toys etc.
Garden: Needs a home that has more space as well as a garden for exercise and regular walks outside.
RESCUE EXPERIENCE: Many people grow up with, or own a dog who has had no bad experiences in life. A dog who is confident and well rounded. However, many rescue dogs have not been as lucky in their lives.
Unfortunately, some rescue dogs have been physically abused, neglected and left traumatised. These dogs need someone with previous rescue experience in rehabilitating traumatised dogs with an in depth understanding of and experience in building relationships with these kinds of dogs.
Squall comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, heartworm free and microchipped. Squall's teeth are very worn. Also included for the love and health of our doggies, is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet .
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
