About Scarlett Spice
Almost seven years ago I saw her on the pound site. So scared! Ten minutes before the hour she was to be put to sleep we managed to claim her. She was just four months old. I have always called her Scary, an affectionate term that paid tribute to her fear.
Affectionate, pretty, friendly to other cats, fun loving and in need of that magical one on one relationship that gives them the confidence they need, Scary or Scarlett, it is your choice.
Scarlett recently came back from a failed adoption two days after we delivered her.
We ask that anyone interested in her understands what scared means in a new environment to a cat. Scarlett never missed any meals and she allowed the adult daughter to pat her. Thats' really good for a nervous cat.
Scarlett needs to be confined in a crate in a small area or confined in just a small room to begin the transition. It may take her a couple of weeks to relax but we can advise, provide calming supplements and hints on how to do that.
She also likes the outdoors but needs to be a closed in area like our courtyard in the photos.
Please talk to us if you are interested and come and meet her.
Margaret.

Medical notes
Nervous in new situations but will reward your initial patience with love if you give her a little time.
