About Mac *On Trial in His New Home*
*MAC IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME* Are you looking for an instant doggie family without going through the “puppy stage”? Then you can’t go past this gorgeous pair! Mac and Milly are lovely little dogs whose owners had to move suddenly to Melbourne to take over a business after the death of a family member, but where they’ve had to move to doesn’t have a yard so they made the tough decision to leave their furkids in our care, so we have promised to find them a loving home where they can be together forever; will it be with you?
Loveable Mac is a tiny pocket-rocket who only weighs 3.7kgs!! He’s friendly and affectionate and has fun playing with toys when Milly’s not up for some playtime. He also loves curling up beside you for a rest and the terrific thing is he doesn’t take up much room on the couch! Mac is adventurous and likes to explore his carers yard which has lots of gardens for a busy little dog to enjoy.
We don’t think they’ve had much training so their foster carer is working on “sit” and they do jump up a bit when they’re excited though they respond well to the down command. They hadn’t been on a lead for awhile as they got their exercise playing chaseys in the backyard with the children they grew up with so they’ve been having some practice at this and thoroughly enjoy getting out and about and they travel well in a car. They are energetic little dogs but not full on. Neither dog is a yapper, they only bark for a reason and they don’t chew or dig either. They were both outside only dogs in their previous home but after a couple of accidents (mainly Milly) they’re now enjoying being inside as well and they love snuggling on the couch to watch tv with their carer at night!

We would love to honour our promise to find Mac and Milly a home together where they can enjoy an inside / outside lifestyle and be part of the households goings on. Secure fences, daily walks, chicken wingettes to chew on and toys to play with will make these lovely little dogs very happy indeed!!

Medical notes
Mac is desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and wormed.
Heartworm test = negative (commenced Heartgard chews).
Weight: 3.7kgs.
DOB: 1/02/07.
Adoption details
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed,
references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
