Milly *On Trial in Her New Home*

*MILLY IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME* Are you looking for an instant doggie family without going through the “puppy stage”? Then you can’t go past this gorgeous pair! Milly and Mac are lovely little dogs whose owners had to move suddenly to Melbourne to take over a business after the death of a family member, but where they’ve had to move to doesn’t have a yard so they made the tough decision to leave their furkids in our care, so we have promised to find them a loving home where they can be together forever; will it be with you?

Sweet Milly definitely wears the pants in this friendship although easy-going Mac doesn’t mind and only arks up occasionally. She’s never known life without Mac by her side and really does adore him. She’s a lovely smoochie little dog who enjoys cuddles and makes a terrific lapdog who is happy to make the most of any attention she can get. Milly doesn’t appear to lose much hair though will need a brush at least once a week and a professional trim when required.
We don’t think they’ve had much training so their foster carer is working on “sit” and they do jump up a bit when they’re excited though they respond well to the down command. They hadn’t been on a lead for awhile as they got their exercise playing chaseys in the backyard with the children they grew up with so they’ve been having some practice at this and thoroughly enjoy getting out and about and they travel well in a car. They are energetic little dogs but not full on. Neither dog is a yapper, they only bark for a reason and they don’t chew or dig either. They were both outside only dogs in their previous home but after a couple of accidents (mainly Milly) they’re now enjoying being inside as well and they love snuggling on the couch to watch tv with their carer at night!

We would love to honour our promise to find Milly and Mac a home together where they can enjoy an inside / outside lifestyle and be part of the households goings on. Secure fences, daily walks, chicken wingettes to chew on and toys to play with will make these lovely little dogs very happy indeed!!
