Matilda and Elvis *On Trial in Her New Home*

*MATILDA IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME* If you’re after an instant doggie family without going through the “puppy stage” you can’t go past this beautifully mannered pair!! Matilda and Elvis are absolutely delightful dogs, you can tell they’ve been loved and that time has been put into their training which is why the decision to rehouse them has been so difficult to make but we have promised to find them a wonderful home where they can be together as they always have been!!

Adopted from Geelong pound when she was only 8 weeks old Matilda is a very sweet, smoochy girl. She and Elvis adore each other and will play for hours on end especially with toys which they both still get so much enjoyment from – they love playing tug’o’war!! At 48kgs Matilda is the build of a Malamute though her placid, loving nature is more like that of a Greyhound. She is not normally a barker though she will “talk” to you which is rather cute.

Matilda is housetrained, good with other dogs and is great with the 2 cats she also lives with. She is wonderful with humans of all shapes and sizes including children. Matilda walks well on a lead using a Halti and has lovely manners, knowing both “sit” and “shake” and she loves a good game of fetch. Neither dog jumps up on you or is “in your face”; they’re fairly laidback and are not diggers or chewers. Matilda loves her food and has grown up on a varied diet of good quality commercial dog food, bones, chicken frames and table scraps including veggies.

We would love to honour our promise to find Matilda and Elvis a home together where they can enjoy an inside / outside lifestyle and be part of the households goings on. Secure fences, daily walks, bones to chew and toys to play with will make these lovely dogs very happy indeed!!
