Elvis and Matilda *On Trial in His New Home*

*ELVIS IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME* If you’re after an instant doggie family without going through the “puppy stage” you can’t go past this beautifully mannered pair!! Elvis and Matilda are absolutely delightful dogs, you can tell they’ve been loved and that time has been put into their training which is why the decision to rehouse them has been so difficult to make but we have promised to find them a wonderful home where they can be together as they always have been!!

Nearly 6 years ago it was decided Matilda needed a friend so off to Geelong pound she and her owner went and after “meets & greets” with dogs of all shapes and sizes out came a then 14 month old Elvis and it was love at first sight for the pair who have adored each other ever since and have been inseparable - he’s definitely Matilda’s trusty side-kick! Elvis is a friendly, confident Whippet who really only barks when he gets excited playing!!

Elvis is housetrained, good with other dogs and is great with the 2 cats he also lives with. He is friendly with humans of all shapes and sizes including children. \ Elvis walks well on a lead using a Halti and has lovely manners, knowing both “sit” and “shake” and he loves a good game of fetch though wants you to chase him instead of bringing the ball back! Neither dog jumps up on you or is “in your face”; they’re fairly laidback and are not diggers or chewers. Elvis loves his food and has grown up on a varied diet of good quality commercial dog food, bones, chicken frames and table scraps including veggies.

We would love to honour our promise to find Elvis and Matilda a home together where they can enjoy an inside / outside lifestyle and be part of the households goings on. \ Secure fences, daily walks, bones to chew and toys to play with will make these lovely dogs very happy indeed!!
