Galaxy

🚨 URGENT FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT NEEDED 🚨
💜 GALAXY AKA AMBER 💜

Galaxy needs someone who will give her time to feel safe, without asking her to be brave before she is ready. 🥺💔

This beautiful 4-year-old Bull Terrier x Mastiff mix was found dumped with her mum, Bijou aka Sheba, and is now waiting in the pound for a gentle, patient person to help her begin again.

Galaxy is very timid and nervous. Leaving her pen can be so overwhelming that she freezes. She has so much sweetness to share, but sometimes she is simply too scared to accept the affection being offered. ❤️‍🩹

There are little signs of progress, though. Galaxy initially relied heavily on her mum, but she can now walk on lead and follow the rangers without Mum beside her — a meaningful step for a girl still finding her confidence. 🐾

Galaxy and Bijou are not bonded and can go to separate homes. A home of her own could give Galaxy the opportunity to grow and discover the world at her own pace.

Her carer will need to offer lots of time, patience and a slow, gentle approach, especially when travelling, meeting new people and settling into unfamiliar surroundings. She needs understanding, a quiet routine and the freedom to build trust without pressure. 🏡💜
