Adoption information
About Nova
Nova fills her days playing, sleeping, and working on getting pats from her people.
She enjoys the company of another desexed cat that will play and curl up with her for a rest.
Nova can take a bit of time to get to know new people but once she is feeling confident, she enjoys cuddles on the couch, sleeping on your bed, and can be picked up. During the day she can be found napping on a cat tower or on a cold day in front of the fire. Loud noises can frighten her.
Nova uses the kitty litter and is a very clean cat.
Nova is beautiful, adores dogs and other cats, and is now confident around people she knows.
Nova can be adopted with her sibling Ruby. You can read Ruby's profile by following the link. https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1210066.
Nova requires the following in her new home:
- Another desexed cat in the home.
- To be kept as an inside only cat with the exception of an outdoor enclosure.
- Patient owners who will give her time to settle in.
- A home with cat trees and scratching poles.
How to enquire for Nova:
- Ensure everyone in the home are happy to potentially adopt Nova.
- Reread the profile and ensure you are a good fit for Nova and meet her requirements.
- Include some information about yourself in the inquiry.
- Only apply if you are ready to meet and adopt Nova now.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis. We assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animals needs.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home, please send us a detailed email with some information about the people and any other animals in your home, as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteers who run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home must attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a fully refundable 2 week trial period. If you ever find yourself unable to care for, or keep your pet, please contact us and they will come back into our care, or we will do our best to assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition that you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
