About Ruby
Meet Ruby, she is sweet and independent and loves the simple pleasures of playing and sleeping!
Fully litter trained, Ruby is happiest when she is curled up napping on a human’s bed, lounging on her cat tower, or stretching out in front of a warm fire. Because she was found as a young kitten in a pet store storeroom with her family, she can be a bit timid and unsure around humans, which means she shies away from loud noises, fast movements, and being picked up.
However, she enjoys pats on her own terms and completely lights up around other animals; she absolutely loves the dog and cats in her foster home, frequently trying to snuggle and rub against them for comfort. Ruby relies on her animal friends for confidence and sometimes prefers their company over humans, so she will thrive best in a patient home with another cat and even a cat friendly dog.
Please keep in mind that a move to a new home will be a big step for her, and she will need time, love, and understanding to fully feel comfortable and safe in her new forever home.
Ruby's new foster home requires the following.
- To be an inside only cat with the exception of an outdoor enclosure.
- Access to toys, scratching poles, cat towers etc
- A patient owner who will give Ruby time to settle, pats when she wants and space when she needs.
- Another desexed cat living in the home, and can live with a cat friendly dog.
*The breed is to the best of our knowledge from the information we've been given.*
*PLEASE read the ‘profile’ thoroughly before enquiring in detail.*
*Please only apply if you are ready to meet and adopt this pet now, and if all family members are in support of the adoption.*

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis. We assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animals needs.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home, please send us a detailed email with some information about the people and any other animals in your home, as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteers who run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home must attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a fully refundable 2 week trial period. If you ever find yourself unable to care for, or keep your pet, please contact us and they will come back into our care, or we will do our best to assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition that you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
