Eric

🚨 URGENT FOSTER / FOSTER TO ADOPT NEEDED 🚨
💚💙 ERIC — ALSO KNOWN AS COOPER 💚💙
🐾 18-month-old male Rottweiler

Eric loves a ball, a splash in the water and time spent with people. But after a sad surrender, this young boy is waiting in a rural NSW pound for his chance to start again. 💔

At just 18 months old, he has so much life ahead of him. We want his next chapter to begin with a safe home and someone ready to welcome him. 🏡❤️

Eric is being brought into Victoria next week, and we urgently need a Victorian foster or foster to adopt home for him. 🙏

🐶 Dog friendly
👧 Child friendly—best suited to older children, as he may accidentally knock little ones over
🐄🦘 Reported to be friendly around cows and kangaroos
🐱 Untested with cats
🎾 Loves playing ball
💦 Loves water!

Eric needs a carer who can give him time to settle after the pound and transport, with gentle introductions, a steady routine and ongoing training. His reported friendliness around animals should still be supported with careful supervision.

🩺 Eric is up to date with his vaccinations. He will be microchipped and desexed once in care, with these costs covered by the rescue.

📍 Foster homes must be within Victoria
💚 Fostering is free
💰 Adoption fee: $1,000 if adopting

We can bring Eric to Victoria, but we need someone to open their door to him. Could you be his soft landing while he waits for forever—or his forever itself? 🥺💙

📩 Please message Mornington Peninsula Dog Rescue Inc. if you can foster or foster to adopt Eric. Sharing could help us find his home before transport next week. 💚💙
