🐾 Approximately 9 months old | Male Ridgeback x Red Cattle Dog | Victoria

Meet Darwin, affectionately known as Jimmy! This big, strong boy is a friendly goofball with a beautiful nature. He loves a cuddle, enjoys playing with other dogs and is still very much a puppy at heart. He’s also content spending time in his own company. 💙

Jimmy is learning his manners and has started practising sit, stay, come, “stop it” and “drop that”. His recall and lead walking are improving too. A whistle or clicker is great for getting his attention, although sometimes you can almost see him deciding whether coming back is worth it! 🤦‍♀️😁 He’ll need a family happy to keep practising with him, and he should remain on lead when out and about.

Although Jimmy is friendly, he can be timid around overly enthusiastic strangers, particularly children, and sudden loud noises can startle him. An active home with older teenagers who can give him space to build confidence would suit him best.

🏠 When left alone, he does best settled in a crate

Jimmy has so much love to give. With patient people, ongoing training and plenty of adventures, this cuddly goofball will make a wonderful companion. Could you be his forever family? 💙🐾
