Thomas Cook needs a place to land. This lovely older boy is being surrendered through no fault of his own, and we’re urgently looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home for him. ❤️

Hank is toilet trained, knows sit and lie down, and loves a game of fetch or tug-of-war. His best friend was a Jack Russell, and he has done well with small dogs. He hasn’t spent much time around larger dogs, so introductions would need to be considered carefully. He is good with children.

Hank can be a little timid with men and with visitors when they first arrive, but he settles once he’s had time to get comfortable. He’s also scared of the vacuum cleaner. He isn’t destructive when left alone, though he may bark and would be happiest with plenty of company.

He has not been tested with cats, so we can’t say whether a home with cats would suit him.

Hank is fully vetted and recently had his yearly vaccination. He has a lump that was tested, but the result was inconclusive. It has since become smaller, and the vets did not appear concerned. We’ll share the information we have with anyone considering caring for him.
