About Baobao
Baobao is a female Ragdoll available for adoption in Granville (Sydney, New South Wales).
Baobao is an independent cat who spends the day asleep and the night at full speed. Toy mice, toy springs and zoomies fill her evenings.
She's independent enough to nap the day away and adventurous enough to turn the night into playtime.
She and Lydia are a pair, and the bond between them is part of who each of them is. They suit a calm adult household, with quiet days for Baobao's naps and evenings with room for her zoomies.
Baobao and Lydia are looking for a home together. Meet Lydia here.
A little about Baobao:
🐾 Loves toy mice and toy springs
🐾 Adores her wet treats
🐾 Sleeps the day away, then hits the zoomies after dark
🐾 Loves ear scratches and a tap on top of the bottom
🐾 Big fan of her own company
Baobao's affection is specific and deliberate. She chooses when to come to you, and she leans into ear scratches and a tap on top of the bottom once she has.
With new people, she watches from a hiding spot. Quiet encouragement and a treat bring her out, and you'll find she takes a pat when she's the one to approach.
She's still learning the ropes, so she suits someone who has lived with cats before and enjoys a patient, relaxed approach.
Baobao suits a calm, indoor-only home with Lydia alongside.
Picture the evening settling in: Baobao pouncing on a toy mouse while Lydia watches from the couch.
Baobao is ready. The toy mice, the zoomies, the ear scratches and Lydia at her side.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
